Itinerary
On arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK), a representative from Jmaffi will greet you and provide transportation to your accommodation in Arusha. Your overnight stay options include Arusha Planet Lodge, Four Points by Sheraton, or Gran Melia, with the choice depending on your preference and budget.
After Breakfast, you will begin departure from Arusha to Tarangire National Park. As you enter Tarangire National Park, get ready for a day filled with diverse wildlife encounters. The park is known for its massive elephant herds, baobab-studded landscapes, and rich birdlife. Embark on thrilling game drives, capturing glimpses of lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. As the sun sets, drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, ascend to the cooler realms of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Pause to admire the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater from its towering rim. Proceed through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards the Serengeti, entering from the south.
The Serengeti, a truly spectacular expanse, is renowned for its expansive grasslands that offer unparalleled wildlife sightings. While teeming with diverse wildlife, its claim to fame lies in the annual Great Migration. Countless wildebeest, zebra, and antelope traverse the plains, in a perpetual quest for fresh grazing. The migration occurs throughout the year; one simply needs to know where to look.
After an early breakfast, you will continue with a game drive in Serengeti until the afternoon. Leave the captivating landscapes of Serengeti National Park behind as you embark on a journey to Ngorongoro Crater. Witness the seamless transition from the endless savannas of the Serengeti to the awe-inspiring caldera of Ngorongoro. Arrive at the crater rim and settle into your accommodation, surrounded by panoramic views. Prepare for an unforgettable game drive on the crater floor tomorrow, where you’ll encounter diverse wildlife in this natural wonder.
