After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam for a scenic drive to Nyerere National Park, passing through rural villages, coastal forests, and open landscapes. Arrive at the park in time for lunch at your lodge or camp.
In the afternoon, embark on your first wildlife experience—either a game drive or a boat safari along the Rufiji River, depending on your lodge’s schedule. Look out for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, waterbirds, and other wildlife gathering along the riverbanks. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive exploring the vast plains, miombo woodlands, and river systems of Nyerere National Park. This day offers excellent chances to spot elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, lions, hyenas, wild dogs, and an impressive variety of birds.
