Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam early in the morning for the scenic drive to Mikumi National Park. Pass through the Uluguru Mountains and rural landscapes before arriving at your lodge or camp in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, embark on your first game drive across the Mkata Floodplain, renowned for elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffaloes, and lions. Enjoy the golden sunset over the plains before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, set out for a full-day game drive, giving you ample time to explore Mikumi’s diverse ecosystems. Visit popular wildlife hotspots such as the hippo pools, acacia forests, and open plains.
