Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all tours booked with Jmaffi Car Hire and Safari, a destination management company based in Arusha, Tanzania. They govern the contractual relationship between Jmaffi Car Hire and Safari (“the Company”) and you (“the Client”).
Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully. By booking any tour with Jmaffi Car Hire and Safari, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
The person who confirms the booking does so on behalf of all clients included in the booking and is deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions for all such clients. Accordingly, all clients named in the booking are considered to have accepted and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. The client who confirms the booking shall act as the primary contact person for all other clients listed in the booking.
Deposit and Final Payment
To secure your booking, a 35% deposit of the total safari cost is required. Payment instructions will be sent via email. The remaining balance must be paid at least 61 days before your safari departure. For bookings made within 61 days of travel, full payment is required at the time of booking.
Booking Agreement
Your booking is confirmed once we have received your deposit and issued written confirmation. The person making the booking acts as the primary contact for all travelers and is responsible for providing accurate information.

- All information provided is accurate, and consent has been obtained to share details with Jmaffi Car Hire and Safari.
Cancellation Policy
Notify us in writing if you need to cancel. Fees are based on the date received:

If We Cancel
We may cancel under unavoidable circumstances. Alternative tours of similar standard will be offered or refunds given if necessary.
Force Majeure
We cannot be held liable for events beyond our control, including war, natural disasters, civil unrest, extreme weather, epidemics, or other unforeseeable events.
Travel Insurance
Clients must obtain their own travel insurance covering medical expenses, evacuation, repatriation, trip cancellation, and loss or theft of personal belongings.
Medical Conditions & Special Requirements
Clients must inform us of medical conditions or disabilities prior to booking. Special requests such as dietary or accommodation preferences will be accommodated where reasonable but are not part of the contract.
Travel Documents
Clients are responsible for valid passports, visas, and vaccinations. Jmaffi Car Hire and Safari is not liable for any costs or issues resulting from missing or invalid documents.
Prices, Surcharges, and Taxes
Tour prices may change up to 30 days before departure. Surcharges may be applied for accommodation, fuel, park fees, taxes, or currency fluctuations. Clients will have 14 days to accept or cancel after notification.
Changes to the Itinerary
Clients or Jmaffi Car Hire and Safari may request minor or major changes. Options include accepting changes, choosing another tour, requesting a price reduction, or canceling with a full refund.
Risks & Liability
Participation involves inherent risks. Clients must follow safety guidance. Jmaffi Car Hire and Safari is not liable for damages caused by clients, third parties, or force majeure.
Complaints
Issues during your tour should first be addressed on-site. Unresolved complaints must be submitted in writing within 28 days of return.
Image Rights
By participating, clients consent to the use of photos or videos taken during tours for marketing purposes.
Local Laws and Regulations
Clients must comply with all applicable local laws and rules of tour providers.
