After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam for the scenic drive to Mikumi National Park, passing through charming villages and the Uluguru Mountains. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge or camp.
In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive in Mikumi. Explore the Mkata Floodplain—famous for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and abundant birdlife. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
After an early breakfast, embark on a full-day game drive across Mikumi’s diverse landscapes. Visit areas such as the hippo pools, acacia woodlands, and open grasslands where wildlife congregates.
Expect sightings of elephants, elands, kudu, warthogs, baboons, lions, and possibly leopards. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing your afternoon wildlife viewing. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
